Take action now to avoid a gap in your Medicaid coverage

During the Covid public health emergency, submission of Medicaid renewal information was not required in order to maintain coverage. As of April 1, 2023, this information will be required again. This means in the coming year you may be asked to submit information to show you’re eligible to keep your coverage. Indiana Medicaid will not discontinue a member’s coverage without them first having the opportunity to provide updated eligibility information.

Take these steps now:

  • Update your contact info with FSSA
Check your contact info and make any needed updates in your benefits portal at FSSAbenefits.IN.gov, or by calling 800-403-0864.

  • Check your mail!
When you receive mail from FSSA or your Medicaid plan, read it carefully. Submit any information requested, such as changes to your income. (See logos below for organizations you may receive important mail from.)
