COVID-19 testing changes at Open Door

Open Door’s no-cost community COVID-19 testing program, in operation since fall 2020, was made possible through a local and state government contract. This contract concludes June 30.

Starting

July 1, Open Door patients and community members will have the following testing opportunities through Open Door:

Established Open Door patients:

PCR testing and rapid testing are available at any Open Door primary care location by appointment, or at Open Door Urgent Care without appointment.

Community members not established as Open Door patients

PCR testing and rapid testing are available at Open Door Urgent Care, no appointment needed.

Things to know about your test:

  • In some situations, a visit with a provider may be necessary. A care team will determine whether a provider visit is needed.

  • Insurance will be billed when applicable. You may receive a bill. Please contact your carrier with questions about testing coverage.

  • Open Door offers sliding fee discounts for those who qualify. The general medical sliding fee discount applies to both rapid and PCR COVID-19 testing. See if you are eligible for discounts at www.opendoorhs.org/discounts.

For questions about COVID-19, including testing, call (765) 286-7000.
