Kickball Team Encourages Wellness & Fun

August 28, 2017 - Muncie, IN - The Open Door & Friends kickball team formed during the Little Red Door’s "Kick Cancer" Kickball Fundraiser/Tournament (as the underdogs). After the tournament many of the team members thought it would be a fun way to promote wellness within Open Door Health Services, while giving the team a way to practice for next year’s tournament.

The games are informal and have been a way for players to have fun while getting some exercise. It has also been a great opportunity for employees to get to know each other a little better. Team organizer Karen Taylor says, "I have been able to get to know some amazing individuals outside of work. I think what makes it so fun is being able to get to know your co-workers on a personal/competitive level, all while having some fun."
