Catina Allen, DNP, FNP

Catina Allen worked as a nurse in Anderson, her hometown, for more than 20 years before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Marion University. She is passionate about providing skilled, competent, and compassionate care, and educating patients so they can be more involved in their own health and wellbeing.
Beyond Open Door, Catina is mom to an adult daughter and a four-year-old son who came into her care in 2020. She teaches nursing at Ivy Tech and serves as an associate minister at her church. She dedicates much of her free time to empowering women to know their worth and reach their full potential.

And I feel strongly about educating my patients, so they are more confident when they care for themselves and others at home.”
