Chasity Evans, DNP
PEDIATRICS
Chasity Evans, DNP, returns to Open Door as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice at Open Door’s White River location. She earned her master’s degree at Indiana University and her doctorate at Frontier University in Kentucky. Chasity has worked in pediatrics since 2000 and previously was an Open Door provider from 2011 to 2017.
After working in a small private practice, Chasity is excited to return to a multi-service health center like Open Door. She appreciates the variety of resources that are available for patient families, particularly the integrated behavioral health services.
In her personal time, you can find Chasity at her four children’s sports activities or playing pickleball (she’s gotten a little “obsessed.”) She also serves on the CASA Champions for Children board.
“I love the relationships I get to build with families. I get to be a part of their child’s journey growing and developing. I want families to feel like we are partners in the care of their child. I’ve been at this long enough that former patients are now bringing their children to me. That is the biggest compliment I could receive!”
