Open Door Navigators Reach New Numbers

March 21, 2016 - Muncie, IN - The Covering Kids and Families (CKF) East Central Indiana Coalition consists of navigators from Open Door Health Services, Interlocal Community Action Program, Meridian Health Services, Future Choices, and other area not-for-profits.  These individuals have assisted nearly 1,350  individuals with Federal Marketplace applications since 2013  and more than 3,000 individuals in applying for HIP 2.0 coverage since the program went live in February 2015.  Over the past year, more than 6,400 people have received education or assistance with some type of health insurance program.

We are proud to have certified navigators at Open Door to assist those in need of health coverage. Applying for health care can be confusing and difficult, our navigators go above and beyond to help. We are encouraged by the growing number of those who now have health care, and we are excited to see how these numbers will continue to grow.
