We've heard it said many times during crises, and we've heard it during the COVID-19 pandemic: Look for the helpers.

On Apr. 3, the CDC issued a recommendation that everyone age 2 and older wear a cloth face covering while in public settings where it's difficult to stay 6 ft from others—for example, a pharmacy or grocery store.

As federal and state governments work to protect residents affected by COVID-19, several changes to health coverage and benefits have been put into place.

If you're handy with a sewing machine, we invite YOU to sew masks for our teams. Our goal is that washable, homemade masks would help extend the life of our medical masks when worn over them.

Beginning January 6, 2020, patients at Open Door Family Planning will receive care in a new location. Services previously provided at 905 S. Walnut Street clinic will relocate to Open Door’s 333 S. Madison St. location in downtown Muncie.
